Dear Brothers and Sisters,

This week has been a time of great uncertainty and even fear in our region, and around the world.  This means it also should be a time of prayer.  Numerous pastors, church leaders, and prayer leaders have called for a unified time of prayer for all churches and Christians who wish to participate.  A specific time and place will be chosen. Until then we are requesting all churches and Christian leaders to join together to pray the "Prayer Alert" below.

Please pray about other things, but please include these 3 specific requests. That way, we will all be praying together for the peace of God to rule.

Pastors, please consider taking time out of your service on Friday (or whenever you meet) to lead your congregation in this prayer.

May God protect the gospel in this region and bring an end to suffering and war.

Looking to our Abba Father together,

Assie, Dr. Jaison, Kevin (DHOP), Pastor Srini, and Pastor Jim

Subject: PRAYER ALERT
To: All churches and prayer groups
From: Pastors and Prayer Leaders

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Due to recent events in our part of the world, and the possibility of future events, there is a vital need for all Christians to pray. Therefore, the pastors and prayer leaders of the city are meeting Saturday, with God’s guidance, to plan a time and place for a united prayer meeting. This gathering will be announced soon. Please watch for it.

But we must not wait. Some are praying already. Our hope is that all who follow Jesus will be crying out to God for peace and protection of the gospel.

For that purpose, we would encourage all churches, bible studies, prayer meetings, and all other gatherings to pray the following things:

  1. For peace and protection of the UAE, its leadership, people, cities, economy, and for all who live within its borders. May God’s blessing be on this nation and on Dubai. As they have shown us kindness and hospitality, may God shower them with HIS kindness, mercy, and goodness.

By the blessing of the righteous a city is exalted…I will bless you, and so you shall be a blessing; And I will bless those who bless you.” (Proverbs 11:11; Genesis 12:2)

  1. For this region of the world, which has known such suffering and war, may there be real, genuine, lasting peace - an end to all wars. Father, we know Jesus said there would be “wars and rumors of war” until he comes. Therefore, we ask, COME LORD, JESUS. Bring an end to all suffering and all war. Until then, God, bless the peacemakers and help us to be among them.

Depart from evil, and do good. Seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry.” (Psalm 34:14-15)

  1. God, give wisdom to the kings, rulers, presidents, prime ministers, and all others in decision-making positions. Guide their thoughts and decisions. Make them men and women of peace. May your perfect will and your divine plan for each country and kingdom be accomplished.

“The earth is the Lord’s, and all it contains, the world and those who dwell in it.” (Psalm 24:1)
