In-Person Services FAQs

When and where will we be resuming our services?

The government has given us permits to run two services each Friday on each of our sites (Two Seasons Hotel and Jumeirah Creekside Hotel). Services will be weekly from Friday 27th November.

Every Friday starting 27th November 2020:
Two Seasons Hotel: 11 am & 7 pm
Jumeirah Creekside Hotel: 11 am & 1 pm

Can anyone come to the services?

  • Yes! The services are open to anyone who wishes to attend. But, according to COVID-19 regulations, you must register first before coming to any service.
  • All registrations will be online and will be open on the Sunday before the service. You can also get the registration link via WhatsApp (+971 52 696 7092).
  • Registrations for our first services on Friday 27th November will open on Sunday 22nd November.
  • Services will fill up quickly, so register early! We are restricted to a certain number of people for each service according to social-distancing rules. Once a service is full, we cannot allow more than the set number to attend.

Are there COVID-19 restrictions associated with our services?

Yes. The government requires strict adherence to the following:

  • Masks must be worn by everyone.
  • Temperature must be checked as you enter the hotel.
  • Questions asked about contact with COVID-19.
  • Room capacity is restricted by social distancing requirements of 1.5 metres between seated people unless they are family members.
  • Only two services to be conducted in each hotel each Friday.
  • Services will be of a shortened period.


When must I arrive for the service?

  • Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of the service.
  • If you arrive after the service has started there is no guarantee of a seat in the main ballroom – even if you have registered before online.
  • Seats will be allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis, provided you have registered online before you arrive.

How do I get into the hotel for the service?

  • The usual ways – by car, public transport or walking. All entrances to the hotel will check your temperature.
  • Proceed to the ballroom as before and follow the instructions of the Fellowship Welcome Team for final registration.

What if I haven’t registered online before arriving at the hotel?

  • At Two Seasons Hotel, you will still be able to attend the service, but only in the Platinum seating area where the service will be viewed on a screen.
  • There is no Platinum seating at Creekside at the moment.
  • To be in the live service you should register online before Friday.

Can I park at the hotel?

  • There will be no valet parking at the hotels, but you will be able to self-park at both hotels.
  • The hotel will check your temperature as you drive in.

What will the services be like?

  • We are very excited to be able to meet again in person for our services! We continue to be a church for people who think they don't like church or don’t regularly come to church.
  • So we will sing, pray, and listen to a message just as before.
  • But because of the COVID-19 restrictions, some things will be a little different:
    • the services will be shorter than our usual services,
    • we will be socially distanced as we sit in the services and as we move into and out of the service,
    • only families will be allowed to sit right next to each other,
    • our movement and socialising will be restricted before and after the service – we are not allowed to stand around and chat with our friends,
    • we must come straight into the service and must leave straight after the service, without gathering with other people, even in the car park.

Is there a Children’s Ministry program?

  • At this stage, we are not offering any children’s or youth program during the service.
  • But children of all ages and youth are very welcome and encouraged to attend the service with their parents, and will be seated with them.
  • Parents must look after and attend to their children during the service.
  • Children will not be allowed to leave their family seating during the service unless accompanied by a parent.

Are we allowed to sing during the service?

  • Yes, we are allowed to sing during the service, but we must keep our masks on to do so.
  • We are also allowed to stand as we sing, without moving away from our seats.

Are we able to share morning tea together before or after the service?

  • The COVID-19 regulations will not allow us to gather before or after the service, so there will be no food or drink available before, during or after the service.
  • However, there is no reason why you can’t arrange to meet with friends before or after the service for a meal or snack outside the hotel or using one of the open hotel cafes or restaurants.

What happens at the end of the service?

  • At the conclusion of the service, we are not allowed to gather and chat as we used to. We must leave the service area/floor as soon as possible after the service.
  • To achieve that and to adhere to the COVID-19 regulations we request that you sit in your seat until you are asked to leave and make your way to the lifts, while social distancing.
  • Our Welcome Team will tell you when you are able to leave, so overcrowding won’t occur at the doorways, lifts and escalators.
  • Before and after the service our Fellowship Pastors and Staff will be moving around those seated to assist in any way and pray with those who wish to pray.

Will we be able to give our offering during the service?

We will not be passing giving bags around during the service but we will have giving boxes available at the exit doors to the ballroom for you to make your contribution.
