Serving is part of our DNA at Fellowship and it's how we are able to do what we do as a church. We would love for you to get involved, join a team, and serve behind the scenes with us.

Prayerfully consider serving for a role or two.

242 Groups

242 Leaders run a weekly online small group Bible study and care for people in their group. They will be trained and regularly attend 242 Leader Training online.

This is really important because we want Fellowship people to put down deep roots in Jesus, be equipped to share the gospel, and take these skills to their home country.

We need a person to create and distribute social media content to encourage people to join 242s. They need to be capable in the creation of social media.

This is really important because we want Fellowship people to be engaged and grow in faith with other believers around the word of God in a community.

Administration

The admin volunteer team provides administrative support to the Fellowship office and the different ministries. This team will also assist in updating inventories, reducing wastage and implementing environmental initiatives.

Children’s Ministry

Help nurture faith of the kids through teaching the gospel, and other activities including worship, play, arts and crafts and prayer.

  1. Teacher – teach the kids using The Gospel Project curriculum, manage the classroom including the assistants, and ensure safety of the children.
  2. Small Group leader – lead kids in small groups, facilitate arts and crafts, lead kids in prayer.
  3. Assistant & Helpers – assist teachers in the classroom.

Lead a team of volunteers, make sure that weekly roster is filled, train other volunteers.

Discipling kids through multiplying and training leaders.

Welcome and greet families, ensure that check in is smooth, assist new families.

Ensures safety of the kids, makes families feel welcome and cared for.

Chat with kids and families during the streaming of children’s ministry online (10am, 12pm, or 2pm).

Kids can have someone to interact with during our children’s ministry online program, and receive their prayers requests.

Lead kids in our Zoom small groups every Friday at 10:30am, facilitate arts and crafts, lead kids in prayer.

To help nurture faith of the kids through teaching the gospel, and other activities including worship, play, arts and crafts and prayer.

Compass Ministry

One-to-one caregivers provide short-term emotional and spiritual support (weekly/6-12 weeks) to people in need. Caregivers will receive training and monthly supervision.

Celebrate Recovery leaders facilitate small group step studies that take people through a 12-step process for hurts, habits and hang-ups. Leaders will be trained by going through the material themselves and attending additional training on how to lead these transformational groups.

EQUIP

The EQUIP ‘Storytellers and Creative’ will support EQUIP to market courses/events throughout the year. This role will work with EQUIP to translate vision into marketable portions through different vehicles of communication (writing, Social media, filming, photography).

This role will lead in developing resources for training. This person/team will transfer training resources we have from raw form to a highly finished format and lead in the development of new resources.

This role will lead a team to inspire and motivate us on a journey through the bible together. This role requires someone highly administrative and focused and also passionate about helping people connect to the bible for the whole year (2021).

Ignite (Tweens / Pre-Teens) Ministry

Impact the next generation for Jesus. Be a part of the Ignite program (tweens/pre-teens) on Fridays, co-lead Bible-based small group discussions, develop discipleship relationships with students and stay connected throughout the week.

Interns

The MIHC identifies potential host homes, prepares the hosts to have interns stay for a week and then liaises with Warwick and the interns to bring them together. The MIHC is key to ensuring our interns have welcoming homes to stay in, host families to serve, and a stress free experience of international ministry.

Japanese Ministry

Do you have a passion for Japan, and for Japanese to know Jesus and Lord and Saviour? Sakura is a group for people like this, and I’m inviting you to commit to 1 hour once a month, on a Friday afternoon, to come together (zoom at the moment) to pray. Pray for Japan and your Japanese friends, colleagues and others, that like sakura, we would see new life in Christ blossom for God’s glory.

If you have a passion for Japanese to know Jesus, you’re invited to come and help out in Coffee Time; ESL classes and bible time for Japanese held on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings (zoom at the moment).

Operations

Hotel coordinators assist in preparing the hotels for everything that happens on a Friday. They communicate with the hotel staff on Fridays regarding ministry venue needs. Making sure that the different rooms are prepared according to the listed needs for the different classes and group events. This is done weekly for all services. The bigger the team the more they can alternate.

Event Coordinators is part of the team of volunteers who help with Fellowship big events like Christmas, Easter, etc. They assist with logistics and coordinating with venue staff.

Production Ministry

Someone passionate about filming and has the basic knowledge of camera features (ISO, shutter speed, white bal.) and knows how to set it up. He/She will become an integral part of spreading God’s Word to the world through visual media.

Someone capable of directing multiple camera operators and mixing their video feed in real-time for a live service broadcast.

This person would be responsible for coordinating between different teams to make sure that the service is flowing well. By making sure the service is going smoothly behind the scenes, we can facilitate a distraction-free environment where people can focus on Jesus and the message that we are sharing.

This person would be responsible for operating our presentation software and displaying lyrics and videos, and the sermon presentation and helping with the transitioning between each element. Helping lead people into space of worship by displaying lyrics and slides for the sermon in a distraction-free space.

Someone passionate about filming and has the basic knowledge of camera features (ISO, shutter speed, white bal.) and knows how to set it up. He/She will become an integral part of spreading God’s Word to the world through visual media.

Someone who has basic knowledge of both live and post-production audio that can assist with the recording and the editing aspects of online production; to allow people to hear about Jesus without distraction by providing clear and intelligible audio.

Fellowship needs a team of people who are well organized and know how each piece is connected to each other. People who can think strategically and prioritize all the content. In order for Fellowship to be heard in the crowd of digital media, a team will need to know how to stand out.

To create content that is engaging and also enriching that communicates the Fellowship message. Content Creators would help people know who Fellowship is online, and also help spread the Gospel with the content they make.

Looking for a team to help keep content and design current on the Fellowship Website and App. The website and app are central to communicating the happenings of Fellowship.

Second Language

ESL helpers love folk from others cultures, have a heart for those who don’t know Jesus, and long to see them gain the necessary skills to be able to communicate clearly in English.

The ESL helpers are native English speakers and provide the teachers with the support they need so that students have people to practice with and try out new language skills.

Welcome Ministry

Welcome Team Online

The Welcome Team creates an environment that removes barriers and allows the congregation to experience God. They also ensure that people are connected and find their place at Fellowship as they grow in their relationship with Jesus.

A friendly person who is caring and will check-up on the volunteers on a weekly basis virtually/ in-person. Will also be required to help scheduling for the online services and should be comfortable with technology.

A friendly person comfortable with starting conversations online and with a heart and desire to make people feel welcome and included in the online family. Must have good typing skills and is comfortable with technology.

A person who is comfortable praying with people online as required. Must have good typing skills and is comfortable with technology.

Skilled in conducting online training and is able to develop training materials. Coordinate and schedule the trainers.

Welcome Team In-Person

On arriving at Fellowship, the Welcome Team creates an environment that removes barriers and allows the congregation to experience God. They also ensure that people are connected and find their place at Fellowship as they grow in their relationship with Jesus.

A friendly and caring person who will check-up on the volunteers on a weekly basis (virtually/ in-person). Should be warm, welcoming and be ok with interacting with new people. Will also be required to handle the volunteer scheduling and must be comfortable with technology.

A very warm and welcoming person who is comfortable speaking with strangers. Required be able to do a follow-up call (virtually/ in-person) before the next Friday.

Responsible for various aspects of the welcoming before, during and after the services (registrations and check-ins, In-service hosts/ushers and greeters).

Team Leads provides support and role-related training and leadership, coordinating and develops relationships with the welcome team volunteers. They are also responsible for handling pre-service prayer and briefing.

Worship Team

We are looking to increase our team of musicians as we prepare to start in-person meetings again. If you are an experienced musician we would love to hear from you and see if we can get you involved in helping people connect with God and worship Him through music. The following instruments are those that we use within the team on a regular basis: Drums, Bass, Acoustic guitar, Electric Guitar, keyboard. If you play a different instrument that could be used for special pieces such as violin, flute, saxophone, banjo, cello etc. we would also love you to get in touch.

We are looking to increase our vocal team as we prepare to start in-person meetings again. If you love to worship through song and have experience as a backing vocalist we would love to hear from you. You would need to be able to harmonise confidently as well as be comfortable in worshiping expressively in front of other people. If worshipping in song is a passion of yours and you love to help people connect with God and worship him through music please get in touch!

Young Adults Ministry

We need a team of people to help organise fun and enjoyable socials. Since it can be hard to meet other young adults, this will help young adults get connected, find friends and create community.

Help get the word out to other young adults about all the events that are happening. This will help them be aware of what’s going on and get connected.

Disciple a group of young adults and help them discover God’s Word for themselves so they can disciple other people as well.

We need mature men and women who are willing to mentor the leaders of today. The aim is to walk alongside a Christian young adult to meet one-on-one semi-regularly to do life together, pray together, help them grow in their faith, and discuss life in light of kingdom priorities.

Call young adults and check to see how they are going and how we can support them. Sometimes people find it hard to reach out to someone. So being proactive and calling people is a great way to start.

Youth Ministry

Impact the next generation for Jesus. Be a part of the youth group program on Fridays, co-lead Bible-based small group discussions and grow through discipling teens who will challenge and encourage you. Significant and rewarding time commitment. Opportunities for further training.

Learn how the ship is steered and build others up. Provide support in organizing and implementing the logistics required for the youth group program. The role is foundational to growing the team through developing content and helping with scheduling and administration for the Friday program.
